Why did strawberries rise sharply in price in Ukraine? 📈Strawberry prices on the Ukrainian market are growing rapidly. Farmers sell the berry for 65-100 UAH/kg, which is on average 27% more expensive than a week ago, according to analysts of the EastFruit project. 🌨️According to the information, cool weather in the main strawberry growing regions caused slow ripening of berries, which prompted gardeners to raise prices for their products. The cool weather in these regions also led to slow ripening of berries, which further encouraged gardeners to raise prices. 📊Analysts note that the price of strawberries in Ukraine is currently 23% higher on average than in the same period last year. Last week, Ukrainian gardeners sold strawberries at 50-80 UAH/kg. 📉Market operators point out that the price of garden strawberries is likely to decline as the supply of this berry from local farms increases. In addition, stable supplies of cheaper imported strawberries are putting pressure on the market. ❓Do you think strawberry prices in Ukraine will continue to grow, or is a decline possible in the near future?

VOTE AGAINST THE ABOLITION OF BANKING SECRECY ❗An important petition to revise the National Revenue Strategy 2024-2030, which affects us all, has appeared on the government's website. We urge you to vote for it! 💡 The Last Capitalist educational initiative, together with the CASE Ukraine think tank (The Price of the State project), took the initiative to revise the National Revenue Strategy for 2024-2030. This document proposes to abolish the confidentiality of bank accounts and give the tax service the right to block them without a court order. 🤔 The authors of the current National Strategy also express a desire to limit the use of the simplified taxation system in order to combat tax evasion schemes. However, the main tax evasion occurs due to the institutional failure of the fiscal authorities (tax and customs), while cases of abuse of the simplified tax system are very rare. 💪 Signing this petition is important for entrepreneurs and the future of Ukraine's economy. Together we can influence government decision-making and ensure a more transparent and fair revenue strategy. 📢 Join the discussion, spread the word on social media and support the petition with your signature! ✍️ You can sign the petition here:  https://lnkd.in/dHkuXQtj

🔎Trends in the global chocolate market. 📊The global organic chocolate market is growing rapidly, reaching USD 13 billion in 2023. This trend is driven by consumers' growing awareness of healthy lifestyles and their desire for environmentally friendly products. The market is expected to continue to grow in the coming years, reaching USD 19.5 billion by 2028. 👫Consumers are increasingly interested in organic chocolate, which is free of artificial colors, flavors and preservatives and is made from environmentally friendly ingredients. Such chocolate is not only tasty, but also healthier, as it contains more antioxidants and other nutrients. 🏭The Ukrainian chocolate industry has significant potential for development in the global market. Ukrainian chocolate products are already widely popular in the European Union and its neighboring countries. Thanks to their high quality and the use of environmentally friendly raw materials, they have a unique potential for successful penetration of new markets around the world.  📈The average annual growth of EU chocolate exports in 2019-2023 was moderate, which may be due to a number of factors, such as rising cocoa prices and increased competition from other exporting countries. France, Germany and Italy are the three largest exporters of chocolate products from the EU, accounting for 32% of total exports. Exports of chocolate products from the EU to non-EU countries accounted for 68% of total exports.  🌿The production of high-quality organic chocolate from environmentally friendly ingredients, as well as active marketing and cooperation with international partners, can help Ukrainian producers gain a significant share of the global organic chocolate market. What do you think about the prospects of the Ukrainian chocolate industry in the international market?🍫🌍

🥖 Flour confectionery from Ukraine is a new pride in the international market! According to the State Customs Service, exports of this category of products are growing every year, achieving impressive results. However, with the emergence of new challenges and the “new normal,” Ukrainian companies need to prepare for the changes and establish sustainable export supplies. Let's take a look at what opportunities and challenges await us in this exciting export segment! 🌍 The global market of flour confectionery continues to surprise with its growth! According to research, in 2019, the total volume of imports of this category of goods amounted to as much as 37.3 billion US dollars! It is expected that global imports of flour confectionery will continue to grow in 2024. The growth is expected to be 2-3% in monetary terms and 1-2% in volume. And what is most interesting is that this figure is growing annually by 7% in monetary terms and by 11% in volume. This trend is very promising for Ukrainian producers, as it means even greater opportunities in the international market!  📈 Among the leading importers are the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France and other countries where the demand for flour confectionery is constantly growing. In particular, in the United States, imports have grown by 11% annually over the past 4 years, which indicates great potential for Ukrainian exporters.  🌟 Not only large but also smaller markets are showing promise. Countries in Europe and Asia, such as Romania, Hungary, the Philippines, and Malaysia, are also actively increasing their imports of flour confectionery.  💼 For Ukrainian companies, this is a great opportunity to increase their export volumes and attract new international partners. It is only necessary to work carefully on product quality and develop effective strategies to enter new markets. What do you think about this trend? 🤔✨
