Expo Comm Wireless Japan is one of the few annual events in Japan that focuses on wireless and mobile networks, the Internet, home networks, and other wireless technologies. Currently, technologies and services related to wireless local area networks have become widespread, they have become necessary for effective business management and in all spheres of human life.
The exhibition has been held since 1986 with the support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, the Consortium for the Promotion of Mobile Internet, the Zig Bee Alliance. Expo Comm Wireless Japan is the only annual event in Japan that focuses on wireless and mobile networks, the Internet, home networking, and other wireless technologies for the Japanese mobile industry. The exhibition brings together about 260 exhibitors on an area of over 4200 sq. m and more than 50,000 visitors. In parallel, an exhibition of drones and robots IDE TOKYO is being held, which is supported by the Japanese Association JUIDA and the UAV Association JUAV.
Expo Comm Wireless Japan is divided into two parts: the Consumer Product Show and the Information Technology Equipment and Services Show for Developers. A separate zone is dedicated to products for the protection of public buildings (schools, hospitals) from natural and other disasters using wireless technologies. Only specialists are invited to participate in the exhibition.
