In the first half of 2019, Cambodia’s construction sector recorded investments totalling US$3.39 billion, up 57.5% from US$2.15 billion in the same period of 2018. The Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction also reported a 24.5% rise from 1,643 to 2,047 in licenses granted to construction projects for the January-June period of 2019, signalling a need for concrete mixing equipment and technology.
