Since 2008, Multimodal has been successfully building a supply chain and logistics community of shippers, retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers, importers and exporters and the suppliers who support them.
Multimodal represents every logistics sector, characterised by key vertical sectors, including manufacturing, retail, agribusiness, chemical, automotive, electronics, FMCG, food & drink, fashion, pharmaceuticals, construction, aerospace, energy, real estate, recycling, paper/print and perishables, amongst others, whilst horizontally, covering all modes of transportation, including sea, road, rail, air and inland waterways.
Multimodal’s flagship event is the annual Multimodal Exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham encompassing exhibit stands, ground-breaking seminar sessions, and networking events. Spanning three days, the Multimodal live event presents unrivalled community networking.
The Multimodal Awards recognise excellence in air, road, rail, maritime, and freight forwarding services and are independently voted for by the Multimodal Community. The informal (and fun) networking evening is traditionally held on the first evening of the Multimodal Exhibition in the purpose-built Awards centre of the VOX Centre at the NEC.
Multimodal Connect is a series of digital webinars on topical industry issues delivered directly to your desk. Delivery is via an App platform that promotes making connections, allows live questions for the expert panels, and 1-2-1 video chat functionality between the community. The App platform, Swapcard, will be used on site at the live event at the NEC enabling the continuation of networking and discussion.
Multimodal News comprises of editorially independently industry news curated on a dedicated webpage of the Multimodal website which is streamed direct to the inboxes of subscribers on a Monday morning.
Multimodal is firmly established as the UK, Ireland and Northern Europe’s leading freight transport, logistics and supply chain management community.
Multimodal’s matrix design makes it incredibly valuable and accessible for shippers, and their circumambient community.
