Agro Technology and Business Fair

The agriculture reforms targeted towards ‘one nation-one market’ as well as on farm infrastructure development will create a conducive ecosystem for the growth of agriculture and food sector.

Focus on agriculture is a must, given that the sector is the mainstay of Indian economy and supports majority of population in terms of their livelihood. With efficient marketing connect as well as value addition at the right stage, the sector can grow manifold, reduce post-harvest wastages and increase farmers’ income substantially.

Hon’ble Prime Minister’s call for Aatma-Nirbhar Bharat is a progressive concept where India not only can become self-reliant but can also play an enhanced role in the global supply chain. The fact that Agriculture is one of the few sectors that have shown resilience during the COVID19 pandemic resonates the potential the sector has in supporting rural livelihoods. The pandemic has also helped identify new opportunities for India as a global supplier of food in the medium to long term.

With this background, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organising 15th edition of Agro Tech India, which will be India’s first international food & agri week from 04 - 07 November 2022.

Agro & Food Tech will have Country Week, Roundtable of International Agri Ministers, concurrent exhibition shows, B2B & B2G meetings, Thematic International Conferences, Hackathon and Training Sessions.  This event is strategically structured to provide its participants a new and enhanced business opportunity by way of interacting not only with the International, Domestic participants and buyers but also with senior government officials and would provide:
