During InfraTech, the infrastructure sector comes together to make connections, strengthen collaborations, share knowledge and inspire each other. Meeting the pillars, knowledge transfer and innovation are central. While 22,000 visitors traveled to Rotterdam Ahoy in 2019, the event in 2021 could only take place in digital form due to Covid-19. Nevertheless, InfraTech 2021 attracted more than 4000 visitors to the digital platform. With 71 online knowledge sessions that attracted an average of 200 active viewers and more than 1000 online appointments, InfraTech proved that it is still the largest and most important knowledge platform in the infrastructure sector. "The Dutch infrastructure is among the best in the world," said Pier Eringa, chairman of NGInfra during the opening on Tuesday, January 12. "And that is also a risk. Because what is already good often does not get the attention it deserves. While we really will have to continue to invest in our roads, rail, bridges, viaducts and waterways. InfraTech is the event where clients and contractors find each other and keep them informed of the latest state of affairs.”
