Foreword

China Construction Industry Association Steel and Wood Construction Branch, Shanghai Metal Construction Association and Shanghai Zhanye Exhibition Co., Ltd. together with related industry associations of 14 provinces and 3 cities in China jointly organized the “2024 Asia Metal Building Design & Industry Expo”, which was successfully held on August 2-4, 2024 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. The scale of the exhibition reached 23,000 square meters, with more than 600 high-quality exhibitors from home and abroad, and attracted 23,174 domestic and overseas visitors, including 3,215 overseas visitors.

With green development becoming a global consensus, China has put forward the goal of achieving “carbon peak” by 2030 and “carbon neutrality” by 2060. Strengthening the construction of green building system, implementing urban renewal actions, maximizing the conservation of resources, protecting the environment, reducing pollution, enhancing the applicable and efficient use of space, creating livable, resilient and smart cities, and contributing to the modernization and development of Chinese style.
