MTM Expo Shanghai 2026 Celebrates 40 Years of Industry Excellence

MTM EXPO - Metallurgy & Tube & Metal EXPO - Asia's Largest Metallurgical Steel Exhibition

One of the most influential events in the steel and metallurgical industry, MTM Expo Shanghai 2026 will be held from 3–5 December 2026 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.

Jointly organized by leading industry authorities and associations, including Baoshan Iron & Steel Group, the All-China Federation of Metallurgical Chambers, and the China Refractories Industry Association, MTM Expo 2026 marks a significant milestone as it celebrates its 40th anniversary.

Four Decades of Industry Leadership

Originating from the Shanghai International Metallurgy Industry Exhibition founded in 1986, MTM Expo has developed into one of China’s most established and influential trade platforms for the steel and metallurgical industry. Over the past four decades, the exhibition has witnessed the transformation of China’s steel sector from rapid expansion to high-quality development.

The 2026 edition will feature eight themed sections, covering Metallurgy, Refractories, Casting & Forging, Industrial Furnaces & Thermal Engineering, Steel Pipe, Metal Wire, Titanium/Magnesium/Copper, and Alloy Materials — forming a comprehensive one-stop procurement platform across the entire industry value chain.

A Grand Gathering of Global Industry Professionals

MTM Expo 2026 is expected to host over 1,000 leading enterprises and attract more than 40,000 professional visitors from around the world for sourcing, procurement, technical exchange, and business cooperation.

With nearly 40 years of brand accumulation and strong industry resources, MTM Expo continues to serve as a key hub connecting manufacturers, suppliers, technology providers, and decision-makers.

High-Level Concurrent Forums and Industry Dialogue

More than 10 high-level forums and technical seminars will be held alongside the exhibition, focusing on industry innovation, green development, intelligent manufacturing, and emerging market trends. These events will bring together experts, scholars, and corporate leaders to share insights and explore future development pathways for the steel and metallurgical sector.

Extensive Global Promotion Network

MTM Expo maintains long-term cooperation with over 200 professional media partners worldwide, utilizing digital platforms, industry publications, and social media channels to ensure extensive international exposure and audience engagement.
