2nd Urban Greenery and Street Furniture Exhibition GREEN CITY EXPO

Targi Kielce features the newest event in its expo-calendar — the GREEN CITY EXPO . From 27 February to 1 March the Kielce exhibition and congress centre will be the meetings-platform for professionals and enthusiasts of cities and towns' well-developed public space. The début-expo will complement the Fair of Ecology, Municipal Waste Services, Recyclable Materials, Waste Management and Recycling EKOTECH  and the International Power Industry and Renewable Energy Sources Fair ENEX / ENEX New Energy.

Well-designed and properly maintained urban green areas and small architecture elements such as urban furniture, fountains, lighting have a great impact over the city's image and give the city's space a unique character. Projects related to small urban architecture and recreation zones for adults and children account for the largest task-group under the participatory budgets in all regions of Poland.

The Targi Kielce's GREEN CITY EXPO will be the showcase for equipment and technologies used for green areas maintenance, forest-stands protection and preservation, biologically-active surfaces schemes such as green roofs and mini parks. Manufacturers of benches, car-ports, potted greenery for the city-use, visual identification systems, relaxation zone equipment for e.g. outdoor gyms and many other will also showcase their products and services.

The expo will be enhanced with conferences and meetings designed to discuss urban space and green areas landscaping, their influence on residents' quality of life. This will also be the platform for sharing experiences; interesting case-studies from Poland and abroad, especially from Scandinavia famous for its unique design will be demonstrated.

The expo is targeted at professional urban planners and management, representatives of local governments, municipal service companies, property managers, designers, towns and cities' residents and local civic organizations. We look forward to seeing those who find visual qualities important in places designed for work, living and leisure activities.
