Vietnam is the 4th largest exporter of wooden products in the world. Vietnam’s wood market is expected to increase 8 to 10 %, approaching US$7.2 billion in 2016, thanks to the signing of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). The agreements will open many opportunities for Vietnam’s wood industry in the next few years.
VIETNAMWOOD is supported by many international authoritative associations such as European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers (EUMABOIS), Spanish Association of Woodworking Machinery (AFEMMA), American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC), German Woodworking Machinery Manufacturer’s Association (VDMA), Taiwan Woodworking Machinery Association (TWMA), Handicraft and Wood Industry Association (HAWA), etc.
