MYANMAR’S INTERNATIONAL GLASS & GLASS TECHNOLOGY EXHIBITION
Myanmar’s glass industry is expected to grow with Myanmar’s extensive development in building and infrastructure. In 2018, Myanmar’s construction industry had a value of more than US$9.5 billion, with a share of around 16.5% of the country’s GDP and a major driver of the economy in 2019. The sector in 2020 is anticipated to be worth US$13.5 billion. Furthermore, Yangon’s population, one of the country’s major economic centres, is estimated to grow by 3 million within the next 10 years, requiring major housing developments. This will open up massive investment opportunities for businesses in the building and construction sector, both foreign and local. MYANGLASS 2022 – Myanmar’s International Glass Technology Industry Exhibition will be taking place at the Myanmar Expo Hall in Yangon from 3-5 November 2022. Co-located with MYANBUILD 2022 – Myanmar’s No.1 International Building, Construction and M&E Industry Show, the event is anticipated to attract over 6,000 trade visitors nationwide.
